We purchased a butt load of Goldwyn Cherry laminate flooring not thinking about a matching stairs...
We purchased a butt load of Goldwyn Cherry laminate flooring not thinking about a matching stairs nose moulding. Goldwyn Cherry color exists for regular wall moulding, but they didnt carry Goldwyn CHerry. we panicked and didnt know what to do. THe closest color they have is Brazilian Cherry which turned out to be darker and shinier than GOldwyn Cherry. WHen you think about it, it compliments Goldwyn Cherry laminate flooring. Only because you wanna make sure you see the end of the steps and not fall down. THe downside is that you have to buy these online and shipped to home depot or ur home. i dont understand why home depot doesnt carry stair nose mouldings. Lots of people have stairs in their homes. The wait time was about 2 weeks.
with the beadboard as stairs backing, it compliments the darker tone of brazilian cherry.

Standard laminate stairnose. Delivery could be faster. Also can...Standard laminate stairnose. Delivery could be faster. Also can not understand why home depot carries the flooring in stock but you have to order transitions. Floating floors REQUIRE transitions....

do not buy horrible productdo not buy horrible product made of some cardboard material chips easily can't remove once installed or else part of it will rip and stay on the track making it unusable and doesn't Match color or texture your better off buying a stair nosing thats real wood in my local home depot and stain it using winmax gunstock now i have to rip all the nosing i did and start over don't wanna wait two more weeks for product to arrive I've stained some moulding using gunstock and it matches it pretty well

Color was different than expectedThe stair noses are only available online, so we ordered the same color of stair nose that we had bought of the multi-purpose reducer (sold in stores) thinking it would match. When we got the stair noses they were way too dark and didn't end up matching at all. The product quality was not an issue, just that the color was not what was expected.
