Qualifier- I am a trim carpenter by trade. I use this gun extensively every day. This is a great design but has fatal flaws. It doesn't have an anti-dry fire which is ridiculous at this point in nail gun technology. Really have to pay attention to the sound and feel of the gun to notice when it is empty....and your trim falls off lol. Second is that this gun wears out quickly. We only get 8- 12 months out of these. Then again we have the same problem with more expensive senco guns. The gun will stop setting nails fully when it wears out. These problems noted, we love this inexpensive gun. This nose is great so we put up with the flaws. If another manufacturer comes out with the same design but addresses these flaws we will readily buy it.

This Dewalt Brad nailer is performing as expected. Really great. Had a harbor freight Brad nailer that was inexpensive but kept giving me problems. You definitely get what you pay for. The Dewalt is maintenance free which I like. No remembering to oil it. Just let loved how it performed right out of the box. And it came with a case, an added bonus.

Pretty fantastic brad gun. Doesn't mar the trim finish. Depth setting really helps fine tune, much easier than adjusting air pressure. Belt clip is really handy and ambidextrous AND has a pencil sharpener! HAH very thoughtful! The swivel connector doesn't leak and really helps. Haven't had a jam yet, but I stoked I won't need to bust out the allen wrenches should something happen. The case is pretty sturdy, has a pocket to keep the manual out of the way, and has REAL hinges!
Probably won't ever use the bump-fire but in the rare chance, hey at least I have that option.
I only have one complaint, and it's with the case: It only has this little slot to hold one specific size box of brads, that it comes with. I wish there was a bigger blocked area that could hold a couple pack of different sizes. I'll just have to store this pack of the orange brand's brads elsewhere.

This finish nailer is easy to use. Easy to load. Lightweight. Very powerful. I had to turn down my compressor to keep the nails from going to far through the board. It is more expensive than other models and it is likely that the cheaper models will do the same job. The price point at this level is not very different though. I do like Dewalt tools so I am probably a little biased toward that brand over the others. Home Depot also sells a compressor / nailer bundle that is only a little more expensive than the cost of just this nailer. However, I selected this nailer over the bundle after reading some reviews of the compressor in the bundle.

Not recommended for heavy duty use
I trim houses professionally and put anywhere from 2 to 5 thousand brads through a gun weekly. I have had great experiences with DeWalt saws, and I didn't want to buy another Rigid because I have had two snapped two drivers in two years. I figured I'd give this gun a go since it was prices about 20 bucks cheaper than a Bostich with very similar features. This gun shot like a dream for the first three months, but as of recently it won't countersink the head of about every 10th nail. It lands the shot and then shoots over it, leaving the head exposed. I've adjusted the depth stop to maximum and have the air compressor set right. I've already wasted a great deal of time countersinking nails manually and I guess I'll have to send it into DeWalt to see what the deal is. Another issue I have with this gun is that they were able to put in a pencil sharpener but neglected to include an adjustable exhaust, leaving you in plumes of drywall dust when banging out baseboard.

The brad nailer turned out to be a little bit better than expected. The penetrating hole is very small smaller than any other gun that I've used in the past. Also it has a very convenient belt or pocket hanger to carry again. Something that surprised me was inside of the sleeve there is a pencil sharpener. That may sound awkward but it was very convenient to have that pencil sharpener right there on the gun. Never miss fired or had any issues as of yet

Seems to be a good nail gun, but I returned it and purchased a Ridgid instead. The Ridgid is also a very high rated nailer. BUT, the Ridgid has a life time warranty and both are very comparable. You need to register the Ridgid asap. I registered my Ridgid nailer online and the next day I received conformation from Ridgid that it was registered. I keep a file with the receipt and copy of everything.

Helping a friend with no construction skills complete a minor remodel, I had to install about 160 feet of baseboard and quarter round molding. If not for this nailer, I never would have completed the job before the painters showed up. This nailer worked flawlessly and saved the day. Lightweight, powerful and easy to usr.
