This product is great for overall diverse applications. For vertical applications it holds fast and not prone to slippage in small material with mesh. It also held large floor tiles very well. Of course it is important to note the mix has to be thick like firm thanksgiving mashed potatoes

It was a little finicky after mixing it up. ...It was a little finicky after mixing it up. It skimmed over pretty quickly and needed to be stirred regularly to keep it workable. Maybe the more expensive thin set is better. It still provided good adhesion and my job turned out fine.
