After I glued down the trim piece. I used some blue painters tape to hold it down while the glue ...After I glued down the trim piece. I used some blue painters tape to hold it down while the glue dried. I used a fast curing glue so after about an hour I removed the tape. The finish on the molding came off in big strips. You can actually peal the finish away with a razor. Very thin! I am going to try and sand the whole trim piece and find a finish to put on it. I have to do this with the trim piece in place because you can't remove it once the glue sets. Can't imagine how this finish would have held up to normal foot traffic if it comes off this easily. Very disappointed with this product.
