I have not used these before so I can't compare...
I have not used these before so I can't compare them to any other products but they do not seem to be sticking to our steps very well. We used them outdoors on our deck steps because they get very slippery when wet, etc. In addition, the "sand" or grit that is on them is very loose, I am forever sweeping the steps. I don't know if that will eventually subside or if they will shed until they are just no longer effective. They do seem help but for the expense, I am just not sure they are worth it.
