This tool works much easier than shears for cutting Formica. I use a straight edge and score along the back side of the sheet. Several passes, starting with light pressure and going to firm pressure. If you work on a carpeted floor the sheet will start cracking along the line after about 10 passes with the blade.
Would be nice if HD stocked replacement blades. I guess it’s more important to offer five different brands of utility knife blades.
