Rondec-CT is a double-rail finishing and edge-protection profile for tiled countertops. The face of the profile has a 1-1/4 in. wide recessed section where field or accent tile is bonded. The top and bottom edges are symmetrically rounded and match the Rondec profile. The Rondec-CT profile has an integrated joint spacer which ensures a uniform grout joint between the tile and profile.

I was using marble tile that I purchased many years ago to replace my kitchen counters. I searched all over Maryland and online to find matching prolife moldings and could not find a good match. I was told about the schluter profile rails which allowed me to protect the edges of my tiles and use stripes of my marble tile to get an exact match for the profile rails of my counters. There were several types of materials to choose from so that you could match the design of your kitchen pulling the whole decor together.
