Rondec is a finishing and edge-protection profile for tiled edges and outside wall corners. The reveal creates a rounded edge along the tile. It is ideal for finishing the edge of tiled backsplashes, countertops and niches. The Rondec profile has an integrated joint spacer which ensures a uniform grout joint between the tile and profile. Inside and outside corners for the Rondec profile are available separately.

Beautiful Tile Edging
I used this only on a shower curb for the top to protect the unfinished edge of my porcelain tiles. This stuff is absolutely beautiful and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I was considering buying a solid marble threshold for the top, but this looks much better and is about 80% cheaper.
Just as a note, the first size in the product description is the height of the Rondec. If you match this to the height of the tile, you will end up with the tile being slightly higher than the Rondec when you add thinset mortar. To counter this, buy the Rondec size that is about 1/16" - 1/8" taller. My tiles were 5/16", so I purchased the 3/8" Rondec and it finished perfectly. Another install note when doing a top of a shower curb is to use light pressure clamps (i.e. trigger clamps) to keep everything together when drying. I didn't do this, and the result was the Rondec expanding slightly out over the vertical tiles (about 1/16"). Still looks great, but wish I had done this so it was perfect.
