We have to return 3 Stair Covers due to gouges...
We have to return 3 Stair Covers due to gouges in the wood. We returned the 4 Nose moldings that were delivered to our home because all of them were broken in half, returned to store to get credit and reordered. 3 raisers were damaged and returned. Inconvenient and pushed back our estimated time to finish project.

Very easy to install over old stairs- I cut them to fit using a hand saw, and glued down with liq...Very easy to install over old stairs- I cut them to fit using a hand saw, and glued down with liquid nails. It upgraded the whole stairway immediately. Nice looking laminate, I matched the flooring to it as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Looked like it was run over by a truck, missing...Looked like it was run over by a truck, missing two and two that we did get were smashed. Took H.D? Two weeks of production time to straighten it out.

Looks Great / Easy to useWas able to install on 13 step and 2 landings in one weekend... that in included prep time (removing the carpet, glue and staples) As you can see I decided to use white risers. I think it gives a great look to old stairs. Lots of cuts, no two stairs were the same size and I wanted a flush fitting against the wall Used Perry Hickory laminate flooring on the landings. PS: I used a table saw and a sliding compound miter saw with 80 teeth blade.

First, yes, each step is expensive, yet you are purchasing a custom stair tread in a matching col...First, yes, each step is expensive, yet you are purchasing a custom stair tread in a matching color to your laminate that is not as slippery as the floor material. The tread is beautifully made and correctly packaged. As always, measure twice and cut once; pre-fit prior to applying glue; anchor nail at the riser. I liked most the bit of slightly unevenness and "grip" on these treads compared to the ultra-slick Perry Hickory flooring. If you get into custom work to contour around existing moldings be aware the Curl is not heavyweight material. Go easy and you should be fine. I doubt more than 5% will need to do extreme custom trimming, but the material will break on the curl is heavily worked.
For added durability, I am using step protectors.
