To begin, the accessory products like this transition piece were great quality and the finished i...To begin, the accessory products like this transition piece were great quality and the finished installation looked professional. At first I wasn't sure about the hardwood flooring - floating, click floor. i did not like the sound it made walking across it. We did use the recommended muffler. However, I loved the look of the floor. After several months, some of the flooring began to shrink and separate. The entire floor should have moved together - but in places it did not. The wood shrunk In the areas where the floor clicked/locked together, making it easy to pull apart with just your hand. We know this because we took some of the floor up to fix it. However, I would use the hardwood floor again - with perhaps adding an adhesive between the boards to ensure they stayed clicked together ensuring that the entire floor moved together as the floor dried out and moved.
