When it comes to a tile/stone work I'm not super professional I just know how to do it.
This tool will help you with those tight spaces like corners and backslashes to apply the thin set.
It is easier to clean this trowel than those made from regular iron that become magnet for thin-set.
The handle is set in an angle that make easier to use in thigh spaces and your knuckles will stay clean and fare a way from thin-set.
And the finish is relay smooth on the tool.

Perfect for working with mortar for tiling because you can smooth it evenly with the un-notched side and then go through the mortar with the notched side to get the required suction for tile placement. It is small so you can get into corners and small areas easily. You can use the tip for getting notches right up to a corner or behind a sink around water lines. It cleans up easily. I particularly like the rubber handle. I can grip it better than a wooden handle.

The Rigid notched margin trowel is the perfect size for tiling a back splash in addition to getti...The Rigid notched margin trowel is the perfect size for tiling a back splash in addition to getting into all of the smaller and hard to reach areas, especially when you can’t use a standard size trowel. Having notches on not only the side but the front as well allows you to spread your thin set evenly. This holds true when you are working around water lines, outlets and other small areas. The overall size and weight of the trowel is good. The handle is comfortable, with a soft grip, allowing you plenty of control as well as comfort.

I've used this notched trowel in a narrow space and it worked out nicely. The stainless steel finish makes it easy to use on any thin set job, easy to clean. It has a golden finish. The handle is very comfortable mold for ease of use. It's a 4 and 10 notch. Width 2" X 9.6".

It's Just built so heavy duty, and feels great in the hands. Not to mention, it makes smaller jobs, and even back splash applications very easy while applying thin set.
The hard Polly plastic handle is so smooth, and I love the Ridgid logo. The way it's designed is ergonomically perfect, and keeps the wrist in a neutral position while using it.
The square notch leaves perfect groves in the thin set every time, and edges keep you from making a mess while applying.
This is a great, pro use trial that anyone would be happy to use. Its just so light and easy to use, and is built to last for many years to come!
