I bought these treads to freshen up our main staircase. Needed something to match the vinyl flooring we used throughout the first floor. After ordering 5 or 6 single treads in different colors, we found a perfect match! They look beautiful. We opted not to order the white risers (read the reviews, which weren't great). Instead, just got primed particle board and cut it to size, which we'd have had to do with the riser boards anyhow. For the whole project, it took my handyman about 5 hours. Materials & labor were way cheaper than paying someone to strip, sand and stain the existing stairs (which are pine anyhow).
