Easy to install and matches the LifeProof Ocala Oak vinyl plank flooring (SKU #1002-145-249) quit...Easy to install and matches the LifeProof Ocala Oak vinyl plank flooring (SKU #1002-145-249) quite well. I left 1/4" between the metal channel and ends of the floating vinyl planks (to allow for expansion & contraction). The top cap more than adequately covers the gaps on both sides.
Being vinyl does not mean this moulding is indestructible. It's essentially a decal over a plastic tee, not a solid monolithic plastic. In high-traffic / high-use applications, it will likely perform similar to finished wood or anodized aluminum. But that's characteristic of all mouldings of this composition. Nice thing is, if it does eventually show its age & wear, the cap can be removed and a replaced with a new piece.
