If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I followed the directions exactly, and the grout was cracking out from between the tile the day after it dried. It looked just as bad as the old grout I had removed. There was no seal and continued to absorb water after it had dried, and when I contacted the company listed on the container to ask if there was a step I missed that wasn't listed on the container, they continued to state that I must have done something wrong, were argumentative and contradictory, and displayed poor customer service. I actually bought more of the product after the first round failed, in hopes of trying it a second time. I'm a non-confrontational person, but after calling the company to ask for advice on how to get their product to work and receiving the treatment I received, I plan to return all my unused containers. I won't use this product again, and will continue to suggest to others I know in home repair to spend the extra money for a product that works.

I'm doing my kitchen backsplash and I did not want a 10 pound bag and I couldn't find non-sanded ...I'm doing my kitchen backsplash and I did not want a 10 pound bag and I couldn't find non-sanded pre-mixed. This is nice because I can mix it in the container. I did not use the fill line, I used a measuring cup of water plus a little. You need to make a tunnel to the bottom of the cup with your stirrer so the water gets to the bottom. I used a paint stirrer and chopped the mix and stirred it. It got thick fast but I did not over mix, then I waited the 10 minutes, then chopped and stirred again. When I put it on it seemed too thick and chunky, but when I went back and used the float to remove the excess it got smoother. I worked it back and forth, it goes in nice. It is bright white like my tiles. Coverage is not as it says on the label. Also, expect to waste some on the bottom and sides as it hardens. It sponged off easily but I did not wait 10 minutes, more like 5. I used the damp sponge to wipe off excess and also to smooth the grout lines. Later there was not much haze. I need one more pound of this to finish.
