It's built very well, but extremely light in the hands. I will say that it really does not even feel like you are holding this trowel, so it makes hrough install very easy.
I really like the ground edge as it helps to prevent leaving rough areas wen working.
The wooden handle is very comfortable, and forms well contour hand. I also love the burned in Ridgid logo. You will be amazed when you try this for the first time!

As a contractor, I can't afford to have high dollar tools disappear, so I look for a good quality tool at a low price. These RIDGID trowels totally fit the bill for me. They're very good quality, but they're very affordable too! What? That never happens, right?
Highly recommend. Great tool for the money!

Real value for the $$$This is a good trowel for the money. It feels good in the hands its light weight and the price is unbeatable for what you get. The 1/4" notch trowel makes a perfect base of grout for large and medium tile and the price allows me to get the right trowel for the job and not try to make due with the wrong tools.

The 1/4" x 1/4" notch size is perfect for most regular tile projects with smaller to medium tile. The construction feels very sturdy and comfortable. The steel construction seems very durable. The pricing seems very good for a tool of this quality.
