Rondec is a finishing and edge-protection profile for tiled edges and outside wall corners. The reveal creates a rounded edge along the tile. It is ideal for finishing the edge of tiled backsplashes, countertops and niches. The Rondec profile has an integrated joint spacer which ensures a uniform grout joint between the tile and profile. Inside and outside corners for the Rondec profile are available separately.

Used it in place of bullnose tile to trim our shower, toilet alcove, and washer/dryer alcove (1/4 in tile needed the 5/16 in trim). Also used it to build a "tile sandwich" shelf for the shower niche and for the transition between the bathroom floor tile and the hardwood floor. It was particularly nice at outside corners where drywall meets tile as it acted just like the plastic or metal corners for drywall-to-drywall outside corners making the muddling easy and giving a sharp line. It does raise the tile height slightly where it fits under the tile. It has been installed for a month now and there are no signs of any problems. I did not use their expensive corner pieces but just mitered the corners. The stuff is aluminum and easy to cut with a saw.
