This "door mat" is outstanding. Has a rubberized back with tiny point-like protrusions that keep it from slipping if its placed on a carpet, as we did by rec-room double doors to the patio. We also have one in the laundry room on smooth tile and it doesn't slip. Unlike some cheaper mats the corners don't curl up. We're going to order another one...

Have it at front door entrance and it catches everything...
Have it at front door entrance and it catches everything from rock salt to gravel and water. Vacuums clean easily and does not slip. Pricey but worth it
