Black stair nose molding
I needed black stair nose to go with my black tile. It was hard finding any! I scoured the internet and local lumber stores. I ordered this and it was perfect!
The only complaint I have about it is the color isn't thoroughly consistent in that there are a few way lighter streaks running along it, especially on the rounded nose. In reality, I am probably the only one who notices, but I would have liked to see more solid color. It doesn't not detract from my gorgeous step down from the kitchen to the dining room. The step came out beautifully!
It does scratch easily when in contact with hard things (like my saw, or if it is accidentally scraped up against something like concrete while working with it), but seems to hold up with the foot traffic. I guess no stained wood is perfect. Oh well.
