Does NOT work as transition between carpet and laminate. It is not multi-use at all. I couldn't tell by description on website!
We had to go with the hideous metal transitions strips the installers had in the truck. Cheap looking with ugly nailheads showing. They have ruined the entire look of the room.
I am very disappointed, and desperately looking for a different option.
Transitions are IMPORTANT!

The molding looks good and is easy to use although the channel doesn't rise enough to hold the material downThe threshold material is easy to cut and shape but attaching it to the floor was a challenge. The channel do not come tall enough sides to catch and hold the material when going from the vinyl flooring to laminate or carpeting. There are not enough screws or anchors to cut the channels into 2 pieces for narrower doorways. A hammer drill is also just about necessary to get the anchors into concrete flooring. Thankfully I had so older taller channel to make this work from laying lament from an earlier project. The threshold material does match the flooring very nicely and finished off the my flooring project very well.
