Tommyco, Gel Guard, Hand Protection. This is intended to slip inside your glove, Elastic bands hold the Gel Guard to your hand around your wrist and over the outside of your hand . In my experience I needed to buy larger work gloves to slip this Gel Guard inside as my to fit leather gloves were just too tight. I have both the S,M and M, L sets, I usually wear L and the M,L work fine for size. I tried these out with my chain saw and on my Motorcycle both needing some vibration protection. I also tried this without gloves and had mixed results. The chain saw did provide some vibration protection to the inside of my hands though the touch feel between then pad, gloves and handle was missing. Ok for the chain saw not so good on my Motorcycle. But I wouldn’t really use it for such. The shovel with glove worked well without glove cover but uncomfortable as no protection from the handle. With my lawnmower no glove it worked better with the smaller Gel Guards glove then the lager Gel Guards. All in all work better then gloves alone , maybe not as comfortable. Depending on your need the Gel Guard could be the ticket!

Great product idea which helps make garden gloves more comfortable and shock resistant. The guar...Great product idea which helps make garden gloves more comfortable and shock resistant. The guards easily flit undermost gloves and provide an extra layer of vibration protection whether you are using a shovel to dig a hole or mowing the lawn. The straps are tight enough to hold the guards in place but comfortable enough that I usually forget that I am even wearing them. I have small hands and found this to be the right size for me.

The GEL GUARD HAND PROTECTION SMALL/MEDIUM (PAIR) by Tommyco help out with the vibration transference from tool to body, but not as much as I had hoped. Not much help for short jobs, but a large difference on day long jobs. I can use my larger power tool longer without fatigue, and they seem to fit well inside my gloves. Nice cushioning for heavy lifting with or without gloves.

My Gel Guard hand protection gloves are great. I use them when I sweep up after cutting grass. ...My Gel Guard hand protection gloves are great. I use them when I sweep up after cutting grass. They keep me from getting calluses on my hands. The cushions feels great on my hands. I did get the small/medium and they are a little tight but that keeps them from sliding off my hands. I haven't done this yet but they can be used inside of a work glove to protect your hands. I love them.

Description:
Good graphics and the text printed on product packaging states "LEFT HAND" and "RIGHT HAND" and "ABSORBS IMPACT AND VIBRATION", which makes it clear how they should be used.
These are pads that have stretch fabric on the back to secure them to the hand. They are designed in such a way as to easily allow the thumb to extend out one side.
They contain a gel-like substance to pad the palm, and have a tough outer fabric that resists wear.
Usage:
I liked that these worked easily to slip over the hand. They fit very snugly and will stay in place. The elastic stretches to accommodate small and medium hand sizes in one.
There is one flaw in the design that may make a difference to some users; it appears that they created them inside out. That is, the seam should go on the outside where the hand would not feel it, but they sewed it with the seam inside. Reversing the pads placed the tougher fabric on the inside, and the soft fabric on the outside, and that seems to indicate it would be less durable.
A nice features is that they are not so bulky that gloves cannot be put on over them. Gloves slip off easily – they do not hinder glove removal.
Does not cover fingers, but palm and upper wrist is well protected against calluses. Power tool vibration is still transmitted through fingers somewhat, but it will likely make a huge difference over the course of a work day because the majority of impact is always in the palm of the hand.
Overall Thoughts:
These are a good idea and will certainly protect your palms in heavy labor.
