nice transition piece
Looks great with the flooring. I couldn't screw it down to the subfloor (on a concrete slab and I didn't want to spend all afternoon drilling holes), so I glued it directly to the existing adhesive strip of the planks. So far it has held up well.

Great, but needs to be a foot longerI could not screw it down since I have crumbling cement floors covered with self-leveler and these Allure vinyl planks. I chose to glue down the metal track and used this reducer molding between a slight height difference between the same vinyl plank floors (installed years apart) and a bigger height difference between vinyl and a wood floor. I thought I would have to cut a trench between floors for the track but it wasn't necessary with the low-profile metal track. Easy to install (don't use liquid nails!) with E6000 or Goop, looks great. But I have 3 doors off the hall and this molding is only long enough for 2.5, which is a huge waste. I was left with a foot and a half of useless molding. If it came in 84 inches lengths, I could have done all three doorways. I wanted to try one first to see how it looked before committing to buying two and being left with 5 feet of unused molding in two pieces.

A bit priceyWhile I recommend this product for a clean transition from Allure Trafficmaster flooring to another type of flooring I found it a bit overpriced. Come on folks...its plastic. My transition was from this vinyl flooring up 1/2 inch to tile.
You can't beat the matching look of the transition strips matching the vinyl flooring color.

only use with similar floor heightCan only be used on similar surface, will not work for us going from vinyl floor to carpet.
