I needed something to cover outside lights to keep the squirrels from chewing on the wires. This worked perfectly. It took me awhile to figure out how to stop them. I finally did. Actually they left my yard the day after, and have not come back. I turned it upside down, so they would be stepping on the pointed tips on the bottom side of the runner.

The carpet runner was the right size. I have a chair lift on my stairs and I had to trim some of the runner to Fit . Other than that a it has worked out quite well. Will buy again when the need arises......would recommended to a friend.
