The Roberts 10-60 9 in. Laminate and Engineered Wood Cutter with its compact and powerful design makes this the fastest, most convenient way to cut laminate and engineered wood planks during flooring installation. The heavy duty steel “T” base provides maximum stability while cutting. In addition, this cutter comes complete with a “V” support and a plank support arm that add extra holding power to minimize plank movement. It has a cutting capacity of up to 3/8 in. on standard 8-1/2 in. wide planks, but the heavy duty 4mm thick tungsten blade is strong enough to cut narrower planks up to 5/8 in. thick. Also included is an angle cutting guide for 45 degree cutting.

The wood cutter did not leave a clean cut. ...
The wood cutter did not leave a clean cut. Every cut left a jagged edge (as if the floor was just broken in half and not cut). We had to then file down every single edge that was cut.

Could be betterTwo problems I have with this cutter the piece that holds it square is flimsy and does not hold it square but it doesn’t really have to be that square because it’s going underneath of molding. And you really can’t see the Mark where to cut under the blade , but once you figure out where that is it works pretty good

Engineering left some things to be desiredI ended up returning this. The blade cut at an angle when looking at the flooring from the side, although the pieces could be used. Also, the piece that holds the work straight when looking at it from the top (also can be set for angled cutting) was too loose and also could result in a few degrees off cutting. Next time, I'll buy a small sliding compound saw for just a little more cash. Watch the dust when using an electric saw - the laminate floorings are worse than real wood in the dust department. I also had problems lining up the cut - almost impossible to gage accurately.

All the bolts were missing, so it was complicated put...All the bolts were missing, so it was complicated put it together, also it is not enough sharp, the cut are not clean and it is a little hard to cut the laminate floor.
