Waterproof and protect your concrete and masonry surfaces with ProteShield 1 gal. Elastomeric Waterproof Sealer. ProteShield's water-based, inorganic elastomeric polymer formula leverages an advanced rubber silicone component that penetrates porous surfaces and yields a protective and highly durable film. ProteShield will not yellow, crack or delaminate. Prevents damage caused by freeze-thaw, cracking, spalling and water-intrusion. Protects against ultra violet rays, ice, water-intrusion, chlorinated water, salt water, acid rain, salts and other chlorides, rust, mold, fungus, mildew, algae, insects, oil, fuels, stains and excessive temperatures. Recommended for many porous surfaces, including concrete, masonry, pavers, brick, precast concrete, plaster, drywall, GFRC, gypsum board, stone, tile, ceramics, foam, canvas, veneer, overlays, asphalt, wood and most types of metal (e.g. copper, brass, steel, aluminum, gold, iron). Commonly used on large (commercial) horizontal applications, including theme parks, city parks, parking lots, airports, roads, highways, bridge decks, piers, schools, helipads, tunnels, pipes, decks, walkways and driveways. Does not seal porous stone / concrete.
Tried sealing slabs of porous sandstone held together by concrete for birdbath. Followed instructions and gave 48 hours to cure. Filled birdbath (very low water pressure) leaked just as fast as it did before applying this product. This might work in other applications, but I would not use it based on no difference noted even after careful application.
5 stars for Home Depot Customer Service! I had used only a quarter of the bottle, and so I took it back into the store (I'd ordered it online, shipped to my house). No hassle to return and get store credit. Very glad about that, because it is $60 a bottle. I already happily spent half the credit that day. Glad the Home Depot stands behind the items they sell.

Easy To Apply & Clean-UpApplied product easily with a brush. repelled water after testing with spray after a 4 day cure time. Did not change color of the concrete after curing.
I applied a rubberized coating on top of this, after a week, to the portions of the wall that were going to be underground. I hope it holds up over time.

Seems a good productProduct applied easily and uniform covering the existing stucco. Was easy to apply a cover coat of latex paint over. Will know in a few years how well it sealed and how well the paint adhered.
I expected a 1-2 week delivery and it arrived on the 4th day

Did not work for my applicationThe product is like water - it has little viscosity. I needed a sealer to seal cracks that were 1/16 of an inch but this product just ran right out of the cracks.

Doesn't do all it claimsI bought this product to seal/waterproof my wood subfloor before hardwood floors being installed. This product claims to be able to waterproof many materials, wood for included. It did not work for me. I had to buy another product to waterproof the wood.
