SIMPLE TO USE
This stapler is lightweight and powerful, making projects easier and faster with less stress
on your hand. I always used the heavy duty manual stapler, and it would not always go
all the way through the wood. Not so with this stapler. It powers the staple all the way in
every time. It has an adjustment knob control for desired depth and uses staples ranging
from 1/4" to 7/8". I used the 3/8" Arrow flat crown staples. It has a jam-proof mechanism.
It has a soft grip comfortable handle and a 3 year warranty. The necessary charger and
battery is compatible with many other Makita 18volt LXT tools which I own. In the box was a
hook and safety glasses.

Limited On Staple Size
I love the function of this stapler, it's built well and delivers a nice punch. The only gripe I have, and it's a big one, is that I have searched high and low for a 7/8" by 3/8" staple that fits this gun and the only one I found won't even fit! I have yet to fit an 18 gauge staple in this gun. So, Makita, what kind of 7/8" long 18 gauge staple are you using in this thing? because I can't find it...

What a great addition to my arsenal! This thing is great! it seems to have great power and at first I was worried about driving staples right through my work, but no issues with that. The weight is good and it fits your hand very comfortably. I have not had it long enough to gauge battery life, but the batteries charge pretty quickly. If I have an issue, it's the additional cost of the battery and charger, but if you match the batteries with other Makita tools (which is what I am sure they want) it makes it a little easier to swallow.

Awesome tool ... first job was our attic insulation project. Handled everything from styrofoam baffles to 1/4 plywood forming with ease and on a single battery charge.
