Excellent trowel, well balanced and comfortable handle for use all day without hand fatigue. Like the gold finish, seems to clean up. I have purchased other trowels from Ridgid with great success and this one keep in step with them. I lay tile weekly and these are quickly becoming my go to trowels.

This is a Ridgid product as they enter the tiling tool market. I was skeptical about the "golden" coating that makes clean up faster. It does. At least to start with. Thinset basically rinsed off the first couple of uses. The handle is sized like others-- but unlike some of my older trowels-- this one has the tension nut for the handle recessed which keeps it out of the way-- but I expect that it will eventually fill with material as I am not spending time to clean up that recess. (BTW-- the trowel is not magic-- you still need to mix mud super thoroughly for this like any other v-notch.)

Once you start, you won't stop.I dare you to start with just one of these amazing Ridgid trowels. I promise you will end up buying every one Ridgid has to offer. They are great in every way, they are Sturdy, comfortable, and super easy to clean. Just wipe off and done. Hard as nails and hold up to pretty much anything.

The hard Polly plastic handle is so smooth, and I love the Ridgid logo. The way it's designed is ergonomically perfect, and keeps the wrist in a neutral position while using it.
The V notch leaves perfect gloves in the thin set every time, and the ground down edges keeps you from making a mess while applying.
This is a great, pro use trial that anyone would be happy to use. It will definitely last for many years to come!

The 3/16" x 5/32" v shaped notches work great for thinset. The golden finish on these Ridgid trowels really makes a difference over standard stainless steel ones. The rubber handles are comfortable and ergonomic. They are not as tiring as regular wooden handles. The trowel is very strong and durable feeling.

The handle is tough and feels great. It's very sturdy and the coated stainless makes for a smooth operation and very easy to clean. This trowel will last for many years. I will be purchasing the full line. I definitely recommend.

Works greatThe V notch is a great all around trowel for general purpose I keep this one on the truck all the time even if im not doing tile work because it works for glue concrete stuko repair, etc you of course still need the other configurations for the jobs they are designed for but I use this one the most.This trowel was about the same price as the competition but just felt better in my hand because of the handle and I have several of the Ridgid trowels with this finish and it works really well when its time to clean up
