A perfect mix! This mixer works well inside a 5 gallon bucket. I used this with a ½” Dewalt hammer drill and it worked well, although it did seem to drive the drills motor pretty hard. The use case I used this mixer with was for mixing up mortar. Honestly, I’ve never mixed mortar so well or so quickly. You’ve got to start off slow and work in the water from the top and then move lower and ultimately out to the sides of the bucket to get the material all mixed in. But once everything is wet, you can really kick up the speed and drop the mixer to the bottom of the bucket. It’ll spin all the material through the agitator and really cycle it through until it is smooth and very well mixed. It only takes a few seconds of mixing to get it really smooth. This mixer cleans up really well too with a standard garden hose and sprayer head. This thing is sturdy too and very well made. Great mixer, highly recommended!

This is a big improvement over what I've been usingI've used the big old rectangular shaped beaters for years and I went to home Depot to buy another. I saw this one and it looked interesting. I couldn't find the old style in their inventory so I bought this.
It doesn't try to spin the bucket. It doesn't bang the sides of the bucket. It mixes the material on the bottom of the bucket very well.
I overloaded the drill motor many times with the old style when I tried to mix too much or mix it too dry. I don't believe that will ever be a problem with this design. I like it! It's as different as night and day.

not capable to support the load and break easily. They must be about 2 mm wider
with better welding job!
