Well Worth The $$$$$$
Needed to install 3/4 inch oak distressed flooring. Couldn't make up my mind to rent a gun or buy one. Most guns I looked at were between the $4oo and $500 range. I decided to look online and came across this kit at my local HD. Read the reviews which were favorable and the price was really reasonable for a flooring nailer. So I took the plunge and bought it. Let me tell you. This thing worked flawlessly from start to finish. Not one misfire or problem with this gun. Seems very well made out of quality parts. And with a 7 year warranty how could I go wrong. Set my compressor at 100 PSI and every staple was driven in PERFECTLY. I own a lot of quality tools and none have impressed me as much as this nailer. Freeman knocked it out of the park with this tool. Where do you find this quality at this price anymore? I have never wrote a tool review before because you get what you pay for and it's no big deal. But this gun at this price point, I figured if helped some other guy in my situation why not. So men if you need a good tool without breaking the bank. THIS IS THE ONE.

Excellent Floor Nail Gun
I was installing flooring in the living room, dining room and the main hallway. I had a bid to have it installed and it was just over $2,000 for labor. I decided to do it myself. I looked into a local rental house and the cost to rent a floor nail gun was $110 for a week. I did some internet searches for nail guns and found this Freeman nail gun. At first I was a bit reluctant because the price was much lower than other brands. I did some more research and found reviews from other individuals that had purchased this gun that provided positive reviews. So I purchased my gun. I like the idea that this gun will use a staple, T-nail or the L-nail. I also researched the type of nail to use and settled on the L-type. I drove just under 4,500 nails on my project and did not have a jamb until about the 4,300th nail. I probably jinxed myself. I was so proud that I had not had a jamb and then I had one. I probably just needed a rest. Clearing the jamb was easy and it took me about 2 minutes to clear it. I MUST SAY THIS GUN WAS AN EXCELLENT BUY AND RECOMMEND THIS NAIL GUN TO ANYONE.

Best bang for your buck
The Freeman 3 in 1 is a great floor nailer and easy to use compared to the Bostich and other high dollars ones I've used some have a second grove where the shoe meets the tongue and if your not careful, the cleat hits in the middle of the board and you have to tear the board out, very frustrating.
I took the gun out of the box and made sure the adapter plate was tight, put 10 drops of oil in it and loaded my cleats and away I went,I put down 750 square feet of Brazilian Cherry and used about 3500 cleats yes three thousand five hundred and I oiled the gun about every 200 cleats,I set my compressor at 100 psi and not 1 jam up,the gun worked flawless. I have not tried staples or T cleats but the L's work fine.I would defiantly recommend this nailer to any home owner or professional contractor.
Thank you Freeman and Home Depot !!!!

Excellent Deal!
I started a roughly 2000 sq ft ¾” oak nail down job myself, renting the Bostitch flooring stapler on the weekends. Realizing this project was going to take longer than expected I purchased a nailer for myself. Being an advanced do-it-yourselfer, but surely not a professional I didn’t want to invest in a high dollar gun like Bostitch, so I bought the Freeman. I have to say the Freeman nailer has done everything the rented Bostitch did, and more. I like the fact I can see the amount of staples that are in the gun without having to open the magazine. I also like the fact that it will use all three types of flooring fasteners. I have pretty much completed the job with the exception of a few loose ends, and this nailer has performed flawlessly. Just oil and go has been my experience. I would highly recommend this nailer to anyone looking to take on their own flooring project!

Great Nailer!!!
I bought this to install approx. 1100 Sq. Ft of hickory hardwood flooring in my new home and it worked flawlessly. Purchasing this one was much cheaper than what it would have cost me to rent one for a month from a rental house. It comes with the mallet to fire the gun, another shoe for use with 1/2" thick engineered hardwood and a nice storage case. This came fully assembled and ready to use. All I needed to do was load the cleats and put a few drops of oil in the air inlet.
I shot nearly 4000 cleats with this gun and had zero misfires or jams. Even in the very hard hickory, it sets the fasteners properly and uses surprisingly very little air for the power it packs.
This is a well built, good looking tool; the fit and finish of everything is top notch and that's important to me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one even if I was a professional flooring installer. For the price, you could buy 3 of these with the money you'd spend on a big name one.

So far, so very good
I received the Freeman 3-in-1 quickly and put it to work immediately, installing a pre-finished, 3/4-inch hardwood floor (Brazilian cherry) in a 150 sf room. Using just over 400 two-inch staples, I finished the project in about nine hours with NO jams or misfires. Regulated air pressure was set to about 95 psi. I did not lubricate the product during the project, but will do so before the next project. This product is every bit as good as the nailers I had been renting for $30-35 per day; it will save me money in the not-so long term as I have another 850 sf of hardwood flooring to install.

Not for pros but great value for the money
If you're considering buying this flooring nailer as an alternative to renting one then go right ahead. If you're a pro, looking to install 100,000 sq ft of flooring with it then you should already know better.
Is it cheap? Yes. Will the Bostich out-perform and out-last it? Of course. If you're a do-it-yourselfer looking to install hardwoods in a room or two but don't want to rent because the project is likely to run a couple of weeks then buying this is a great alternative. Of course it's not as good as models that cost two to three times as much, but as long as you don't cheap out on the nails / staples it should work like a charm. It says right on the box that it's designed for Bostich fasteners so I would stick to those. I did and the nailer performed beautifully.
