Good tile bit for the do it your selfer. The cutting speed is very dependent on the tile thickness and hardness. Pretty slow on the harder floor tiles. But I cut quite a few hole and cutouts for walls and floors and the bit is still going. I cant imagine a professional having the time for the slow cuts.

Enlarge a hole in your granite counter
I needed to widen the faucet hole in our Uba Tuba granite counter top to accommodate a single style faucet. The Faucet required a 1 3/16" hole but the counter was pre-drilled to an inch for our old three hole style faucet.
Since I don't own a rotozip tool I used a regular corded drill and just eyeballed the entire operation until the hole was large enough. All I did was use the drill on its highest speed and repeatedly move the bit in circles around the inside of the hole, trying to keep it as plumb as possible throughout the entire operation (took me about 20-30 minutes). Make sure you stop every once and a while to avoid overheating the bit. I used a dry bit.
Dust will fly, so if you've got another set of hands have them hold the vacuum near the location to minimize the particles.
Overall it worked great and I have no complaints. I'm glad to save money doing it myself and there was little risk of damaging the granite top since there was really no impact, just more of a sanding of the inner hole. Oh yeah, do not WIPE the dust around on your counter!! Use a vacuum to suck up whatever lands so that you don't etch the shiny finished top!! (yeah I made this mistake near the hole, luckily its covered by the base plate)

Porcelain Tile Cut Fine
Received the bit for a present. Doing a bathroom remodel using 12x12 porcelain tile.
If you have a little patience, this bit will do the job with NO problem (I used my Rotozip freehand). Final cut is not as 'clean', but will be hidden by toilet and pipe covers anyways. Once you get through the tile, go clockwise in an up-and-down motion with a little sideways pressure. I practiced on some porcelain tiles from the Habitat store.
Tip: if you're cutting a semi-circle (see photo), start from the tile edge first, and come through about 1 or 2 inches on both sides, then slowly come through to the middle (by doing it this way, the tile edge will not break off).
Saved me a ton of money (vs. buying or renting a wet-tile saw). I did not waste one single tile.

Got the job done
I needed to trim a porcelain floor tile where the edge went under a floor transition strip - about 3in had to be cut off a corner. This did the job and it avoided me having to rent a special tool. However it took a looong time to make the cut with my Rotozip. For small jobs this bit will work. But floor tile is much to hard for this to be used on larger jobs.

I took a chance
I've never tried these diamond bits before, so I bought the one with the most diamond on it so it would have the best chance to impress me, or fall flat. I'm impressed! I Once you get through the glazed surface on the quarter-inch floor tile, it eats a line or needed curve with no problem. On the thinner bathroom tile it was a breeze. I used it plenty, yet it still has some life left. I used an ordinary DeWalt cordless drill on high speed. I will never do any more tile work without this tool.

It had a tough time drilling through my floor tile. Once through I was able to use like a router, angling it back and forth. So if its just holes you want I would use an inexpensive tile bit.
