Excellent floor fillerFirst time using this filler. Installed oak flooring in three rooms but got a "deal" on some red oak that was a mixture of select, #1 and #2 grades which left some larger gaps than I would normally encounter. This filler is thin which makes it very simple to towel on and fill large areas quickly. It went on so fast that I applied it to the entire floor rather than just trying to concentrate on individual spots. After it dried (which didn't take long) I did a quick sand on the entire floor using an orbital sander and 100 grit paper which took the excess filler off quickly. Not certain why one of the reviewers couldn't sand it as I had no issues. There was a little shrinkage in some of the larger gaps which I had to fill a second time but that was to be expected. Seems to accept stain and poly equally as well and looks like part of the floor. Like all filler I expect it to crack in time as the wood expands and contracts but this is what I get for using second grade flooring.

Terrible- won't sand offOur DIY hardwood flooring install was moving along and looking fantastic- until we made the mistake of using this. After FOUR HOURS of sanding with the giant floor sander, our floors are still covered in a white haze and thick spots from this filler. That's only in one room- we didn't even get to start sanding the second. Additionally, this product dries harder than wood, which causes the sander to skip and sand unevenly. Our idea to try stripping it all off with 36 grit was a massive failure, the machine skipped and gouged the floors. Beautiful. We tried small sections with the palm sander- which is just another exercise in extreme frustration.
Luckily, a little bit of research and a test spot found that it can be removed with rubbing alcohol. Looks like we'll be spending the next couple nights scrubbing away.
If it weren't for this product, our floors would be stained and sealed already- and I would have several hours of my life back. Lesson learned the hard way- won't be using this product EVER again. Consider yourself warned.

Works wellI can only assume other reviewer globbed it in the wood. You need to trowel it on and only leave a very thin skim coat. If troweled on properly it sands off quite easily. I used it on white oak stairs and sanded off by hand with little effort. Filled perfectly and took my dark stain evenly. If you get the product on unwanted areas wipe with a damp cloth before it dries.

This product does not work. I used it for my floor, half of it will come out of the cracks ...This product does not work. I used it for my floor, half of it will come out of the cracks after you sand. Maybe they should sell it with a 50% rebate!
