Junk!
Very disappointed with this product. Durability compared to the flooring is nonexistent which is a problem for a high traffic location such as a stair nosing. Product description is inaccurate, it's not hardwood but MDF wrapped with a very thin veneer. For the price it would be cheaper and more durable to have someone make and stain matching stairnose.

HorribleI can't believe they charge $40 for this. Not even close in quality to the floor it is supposed to match. Paper thin veneer that peels up super easy. I will be looking for something that is better quality and replace it. The color doesn't match that well, and you have to buy it online. Avoid.

Was it really this hard to post more dimension info?!I have not yet got to install the stair nose because NOBODY has it in store. So i had to order it. Since nobody has taken the time to specify what's the dimension underneath (lip to edge), i have to postpone finishing the installation until I receive the stair nose. That's because I dont want to have to remove all hardwood just to be able to fit the stair nose if its of by a quarter of an inch. WOULD IT BE SO HARD TO YOU GUYS TO POST A DIAGRAM SPECIFYING SIZE FOR ALL EDGES/ETC ? I guess for a product this expensive its too much to ask?!! I WOULD NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN!!!!

paper thin wood + MDFI was pleased with the flooring that matched this product, but the accessories are not available as solid hardwood, and the paper-thin covering of 'wood' on the trim and thresholds make it very difficult to get a nice looking cut- they tend to fray. I am very worried that a high-traffic area like a stair nose will not hold up well at all. The 'wood' portion is literally paper thin. They are nowhere near as thick a the wood of the floor.
