The QEP 7 in. Wet Tile Saw is the only wet tile saw in its class to offer a rear extension to support large format tile where you need it after the cut is performed. Once the tile is cut, the rear table extension keeps the cut tile safe and secure. The powerful 3/4 peak HP motor will cut through unlimited sizes of the hardest tile including ceramic, porcelain, slate, marble and stone. Convenient flip up table for 22.5° and 45° miter cuts, adjustable rip guide and angle guide for a variety of cuts. Water spray containment baffle to help keep the surrounding area drier during cutting.

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen. We got 18" porcelain tiles for the floor that I wanted to do a diamond pattern which requires cutting on the diagonal. My husband is doing the cutting but the tiles are looking great so this saw is doing the trick. He did have to take the guard arm off in order to make the cuts but if you're slow and steady it works great. He is also using it to cut the glass tile sheets for the back splash.I also bought the QEP 7" black widow diamond blade that was recommended. For the price I would highly recommend.

No Problems with this saw!I have another QEP wet saw, but needed one with the back extension for large format tile. I did put a new QEP "Black Widow" blade on the saw when I first took the saw out of the box, based on other reviewers comments. This saw not only has the back extension, but a wider table as well. Contrary to other reviews, the drain plug never leaked for me, and I used the saw daily for two weeks, emptying it out and cleaning it daily. All in all, a great purchase for the experienced DIY'er. Might even work well in a commercial environment.

This product was not reliable after repeated cuts (3 successive 20 inch cuts). Motor started drag...This product was not reliable after repeated cuts (3 successive 20 inch cuts). Motor started dragging....speed reduced, or stopped. Shutting down and allowing several minutes to expire would start the cutting process again. Not reliable for use on my porcelain tiles. Looking for better unit.

Do not buyThe saw is made out of cheap materials. It is light and flimsy. The motor stopped working after just 10 cuts. Spend a little extra and buy a different saw.
