T molding to compliment our new floor
I purchased this T molding separately after I had installed our new floor (also from Home Depot) as I was unsure what the final difference in elevation would be to the surrounding floors after installation of the floor with a heavy sound absorbent vapor barrier. I was therefore not sure which T molding would work best. In the final analysis I chose this one, which is designed for floors which are approximatly the same height, whereas in this case there was about 3/16" difference in elevation. I carefully cut the molding to the exact length and it clicked into place securely without the aid of glue or nails. It looks great and matches the floor perfectly as shown in the pictures.
