Carpet Reducer Moulding looks great, minor installation concensThis moulding comes with a plastic channel. The plastic channel attaches to the floor and the moulding fits over the channel to be held in place without nailing the moulding to the floor. There are no instructions. There is not enough room between the plastic channel sides to get a hammer to nail the channel to the floor. If you use an air stapler, the force cracks the plastic channel. I ultimately ended up attaching the moulding using my air brad nailer by nailing the moulding directly to the floor and basically ignoring the plastic channel.

Way overpriced, but looks greatLike a previous reviewer mentioned, we also tacked this down with a brad nailer and filled the tiny holes with wood putty of a comparable color. It was a necessary piece where the laminate flooring in the hallway met the bedroom carpeting. These threshhold pieces cost us a third of what all the flooring cost, so these finishing pieces are the downfall of the inexpensive flooring. It would not look like a professional job without them.
