worked out really well with the flooring I bought.
I purchased these stair noses in the hopes that they would match up with a bamboo floor I had bought from another manufacturer. I wanted to go the stair nose and flooring route to make up the stair tread as opposed to buying a whole stair tread to save money. This nose matched pretty much perfectly, especially in color. The small under bite on the nose was the exact thickness of the lip on the flooring. So with a little wood glue, construction adhesive, and brad nails; I had a pretty much flawless stair. One tread purchased took care of 2 of my stairs. So doing the math, I saved a ton of money. The durability seems great. I have had them in for a month now, and neither the kids or the dog have managed to scratch them yet. I would definitely recommend this product.
