The Satin Brass Fluted 72 in. Stair Edging covers and protects the edge of a stair step. Stair Edging prevents wear and tear on carpeted and wood stair steps and prevents a stair?s vinyl surface from curling. Stair Edgings are easily secured to wood and concrete floors with provided Screw Nails. For installation on concrete floors use Wooden Pegs (sold separately).

Economical stair nosings for utility locations
I wouldn't recommend using this product inside a home where wood nosings would be more appropriate but if you have landings and stairs in a garage or similar location, these aluminum nosings work fine and work aesthetically. Instructions indicate that a hacksaw should be used for cutting but I found that a good pair of tin snipes work more easily.

great product, better packaging needed
I bought the 6 foot measure of this product because it was cheaper. Sawing with a hacksaw was a pain, but easily nailed to the stairs with the provided wood scres. Even the 36 inch size would need to be shortened as the stairs measured 35 inches. The box arrived bent and the product was kinked to the point that it could not easily be bent back into shape. Easy do it yourself project.

It did the job it is just very annoying that you do not have these type of items in stock. Had to wait over a week for it to be ordered and come in to be able to finish the job. You keep all the flooring in stock why not a simple piece like this?

I finished my pool deck rug project nicely
I purchased this product to finish off the edge of my pool deck that I just rugged with indoor/outdoor carpet also purchased at HD. It looks great. I required no sales person interaction since I already knew what I was looking for.
