Tricky to get on
I bought these inexpensive snapshell covers to save the cloth kneepads from wear. They provide good protection and do that job. The covers are a hard plastic material and do change the feel of the pad. They cause some initial slip, but nothing serious and you adjust to them quickly. Once your full weight is over them there is no slipping. They are well made, comfortable and have gotten banged up saving the softer pads underneath. It was difficult initially to get the snaps to go on the pads. I had to resort to a small c-clamp to apply pressure directly over the snaps and they then went in fine. Once on they are not going anyplace.

These work great. Used them over dirt mostly and landscape rock once in awhile. Got to align the snaps exactly on top of each other - not at an angle and can snap on by hand.
