The ProLock PLK06 (93179) non-marring caps bring an added level of layered protection to your ProLock foam or gel kneepads. Unlike other armor-like hard caps, these caps are made of a flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) to protect your knees while shielding hardwood and tile flooring from damage. Attaching them to your existing ProLock kneepads is simple and tools are entirely optional, just twist the four thumbscrews into their corresponding anchors either by hand or with a hex key or Allen wrench for a secure fit. Remember, when a task calls for working on your knees, let ProLock knee pads take the strain so you don't have to.

My husband needed these for laying a concrete sidewalk. I ordered them not noticing that it said "attachment" and that I needed to order another part for them. At the time, I do not believe it said attachment. Either way, my error. So I ordered the Prolock Knee pads. Fit in the hard cap like a charm. They were as comfortable as knee pads can be for his project.

I truly believe that these knee protectors are the best I've ever used. These are non-marring of the surface you are installing. The caps are made thermoplastic elastomer cap. The best feature of the kneepads is that it incorporates a twist-to-lock feature which ensures the cap stays put and not slide down the legs. Be advised that these are the caps and not the padding. which has to be purchased separately (PLK03 and PLK04) at Home Depot.

I attached the professional gray nonmarring hard cap attachment for prolock knee pads to my knee ...I attached the professional gray nonmarring hard cap attachment for prolock knee pads to my knee pads and found them to be nonmarring and very comfortable. As a matter of fact my knees felt protected and at easy wearing them. I enjoyed working in them. It is to bad they are not sold with the knee pads the do make a difference and they are easier on the knees rather just the knee pads. I liked them because I am on my knees a ot.

At first I thought these were the knee pads also but it is the hard shell attachment for prolock ...At first I thought these were the knee pads also but it is the hard shell attachment for prolock knee pads PLK03 and PLK04 so i will get those so i or my wife can use the knee pad attachments , They are good quality and durable and i would tell all my friends to go out and buy these knee pads and the attachment it is well worth exspecially if it hurts to be down on your knees from doing flooring or if painting baseboards.

These are nicely made and probably work great, I misread the description and thought they were pa...These are nicely made and probably work great, I misread the description and thought they were pads with hard shells, so I don't have the pads yet. I have other pads from the same manufacturer and will probably get the pads that go with these shells in the future. My wife and I both have issues with our knees, Hers as the result of a nasty break mine from old football injuries, so good knee pads are essential.
