Tread-Lock by Bostik is a one-component, easy gunning, construction adhesive that is specifically formulated for the installation of stair tread, retread and riser installations. Tread-Lock has good grab strength while wet and cures quickly to form a tenacious bond. Once cured, Tread-Lock remains tough yet flexible for extreme durability, helps reduce stair squeaking and reduces the sound of footsteps on the stairs.

Stiff adhesive
Purchased 4 tubes for home delivery, which worked well. All tubes were stiff to the point that two hands squeezing could barely get the material out. The product was within it's expiration date. A most frustrating experience.

Easy to use, really stuck to the treabs and sub...Easy to use, really stuck to the treabs and sub treads, hope it stays and will move with humidity change we have here. Don’T think you need as much as advertised per tread and use something less expensive on the risers.

The adhesive was several months expired when it was shipped out and had hardened to the point tha...The adhesive was several months expired when it was shipped out and had hardened to the point that I was unable to dispense it. Took it back to HD got a refund and picked up another brand to attach the StairTek re-treads. The StairTek re-treads are really nice and are a huge improvement over the dirty carpet that was on the stairs.
