I have used this product 3 different times, my daughter's sink, our sink (both about a year ago) and recently re-caulked our tub. Love the different colors available. Big plus, NO shrinkage, very important for caulking. We love the added sand for our tub, it looks like grout. A little tip, after applying, if you are like me using your finger to smooth out the caulk line, use plenty of water to get a smoother look, it won't wash away the caulk, just let the caulk cure for a few minutes (but not too long) then smooth it out. The sand makes it easier to work with, in my opinion.
Since grout cracks real easy with movement, between tub and tile, this is a great product to cure this issue. I probably went too far by removing all the grout first, but did not want loose grout mixed with the caulk. Time will tell but I have done other tubs with regular caulk (no sand), and this is much much better to work with, I can tell it will hold up better. One tube did the whole 5 foot standard tub to tile, the joining two tiled walls and tub to floor, just fyi. Highly Recommend...

We needed to regrout around just one tile that sits vertically on the hearth (tile had come off -...We needed to regrout around just one tile that sits vertically on the hearth (tile had come off --we had messed with it before it set the first time -- and was re-glued). I ordered this caulk and the grout that needs mixing just in case the color of this stuff wasn't the same as the original grout. But it was!
In case you need to test color: I squose out a bit onto a plastic plate and let it dry. Then placed it next to the original grout. Again: so happy to say it was exactly the same color and texture.
Re-grouting, in this case caulking, was my job and it was easy. I made the mistake of cutting the tip too big. If I had cut just a tiny opening it would have been even easier to use.
The caulk has sunk in a bit. No one but me will notice but I plan to see if I can apply more.

Also it took well over 48 hours for the product to cure and even then it was still very soft underneath the skinned over surface, making it stay soft underneath. I made the thickness of my caulking less than a quarter inch as the directions state, but after 4 days waiting for it to cure to firm, I had to scrape it all out and replace it with regular grout, then adding a very thin layer of this caulking over the cured grout. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product unless you plan to use it only as a very thin seal over a grouted surface. It did NOT meet my expectations. It took way too long to cure properly.

I let it cure for about 2 days and it seemed fine at the time and looked pretty good - not very firm, but not soft either. However, 2 month later the areas that have the most of the water exposure (mostly side drains on either side of the fiberglass tub) became very soft and gummy and appear to be pealing from the tub. I was going to try redoing these areas with the same caulking, but looking at the reviews it seems I should be looking elsewhere. What a pain!

This caulk is good for finishing the edges of the tile against walls and fixtures. It can be sm...This caulk is good for finishing the edges of the tile against walls and fixtures. It can be smoothed with a sponge similar to sponging grout except that it is thicker and it sticks to the sponge more than grout. The working time is short and it will skin over and then become rough when you try to smooth or shape it so don't put down more than you can work within about 10 minutes. There is no foil to puncture after opening so don't bother running the spike down the tube.

Needed to repair grout line on a couple floor tiles and didn't want to mix a whole batch. Product looked like it did ok before letting it sit overnight. Next day I noticed shrinkage and that the grout was still soft so I laid more on top. Again, the product would probably be perfect for its intended corner or sink use but I will just mix a whole bag if I ever have to make a repair again.

Everything It Says It Is - Works GreatNot sure what other reviewers saw online, because this is clearly represented to be sanded caulk in both the picture and the written description. Since buying my home 11 years ago, with a shower that has Polyblend bone colored grout between the tile, I have routinely used this product in the joint where the tile walls and tile shower flooring meet. It has always been a perfect color match, and the sanding makes it appear just like the grout lines once it cures. I'm an ordinary female homeowner and I found that, following the instructions, it applies easily with a caulk gun and smooths nicely with a damp finger (never used a tool, yet). If you make sure the surfaces are vey clean and dry when you apply it, it holds up very well, and is not too difficult to remove when it finally needs a redo.

Used to finish off a fireplace surround with large format natural slate tiles and the pewter colo...Used to finish off a fireplace surround with large format natural slate tiles and the pewter color sanded grout by the same manufacturer. The caulk installed easily, and the excess cleaned up easily. Color uniformity with the grout product was very good too. Have used caulk and grout products where the colors were very different between them, but this is not the case with the Polyblend products.
