This product looks beautiful on the floor, like real wood. Contractor said easy to lay, although I did purchase Pergo Gold underlay to smooth out surface first. Will have to see how it wears and cleans. Did have streaks on it from wear and tear during construction, but they lifted off easily with a hardwood/laminate wood cleaner. But the latter streaked, so I had to clean over with water and vinegar solution, then looked fine. I prefer the look of the darker wood, but you should know that it leaves foot marks if I walk in bare feet and the dust will show. Will be a little more housekeeping than just running sweeper, but looks so much nicer than carpet.

Installed several of these. Note that the elevation of the...Installed several of these. Note that the elevation of the two floors you are transitioning between should be within 1/8" to work well. If it's closer to 1/2", you'll need the reducer piece instead. If it's between 1/8 - 1/2", good luck. Neither will work. I had to cut a very narrow strip of 3/16" paneling to put under the metal channel to bring the channel to the correct height to work. Also, once the strip is started in the channeling, there's no pulling it back out without destroying it. Other than that, they are good.

Matched the color of my Pergo floorMatched my Pergo Flooring and the reduction was flush to my bathroom floor. The only real complaint I have is with the mounting hardware. On a 72" piece they provided only four screws. In addition, many of the holes on the metal mounting strip were not fully drilled. Note that I purchased five of these items and everyone was the same.
