The T-Molding I used to transition onto adjoining tile floor of the same height. The T-Molding is delivered with an Aluminum snap track and a sleeve of 5 plastic anchors and screws. It was easy for me to use my big Bosch hammer drill to tap the holes into the concrete, screw the track onto the concrete, then snap in the T-Molding with gentle taps from a rubber mallet. The only caution I can give is that while the matching floor says to leave a 3/8" gap for expansion, if you are going to use this T-Molding, I would recommend a gap of 1/2" to 5/8". That will make it easier to attach the track and there is plenty of overhang to cover both the laminate and tile. One note; online instructions say absolutely do not use to transition to carpeting, but I did. The carpeting I have with the padding I have is very somewhat thicker than the laminate floor even laid over foam [with a foam backing on the laminate]. I found that using the T-Molding in a position that the overhang was over the tack strips holding the carpet, I got a visually nicer transition that with the reducer molding. I am aware that the reducer molding is designed to snug up to the carpet to hold in down over the tack rail, but this T-Molding is doing the same and is very stable. I did use some construction adhesive in the track to help hold it in place. This would not work well with thinner or thicker carpeting, but mine was just right.

Looks like real wood planksThere were a couple flaws in the surface, which I noticed when it was too late after installation. Make sure and look close at each one before you install it. You need the z bar and rubber striker to get the planks set in place. I'm only 1/4 of the way through, but am happy. Wish the company could refer a cleaner or polish to keep it looking good. I have no idea what to use at this point.
