The install is very difficult as you have to drill very precise depth holes into the floor surface to install it. You then have to perfectly line up the multiple screws into the holes and evenly push the multifloor down.The plastic inserts/screws are very flimsy and break easily. I checked and you cant buy extras at Home Depot or from the manufacturer, you have to buy another threshold. It looks very good once installed but I would say most people will struggle to install it. It also appears to be the only threshold multifloor device like it that doesn't leave exposed nails which my kids would frequently get cut on.
An improvement would be to have a device you just screw into the floor and then snap the threshold cover over it.

Worked wellGood for unequal height transition thresholds. Needs a few more color choices for the oak and pine finishes. Requires near exact drilling for mounting purposes. Be sure to allow equal spacing on both transition sides. An uneven height will pull the saddle towards the lower side.

Difficult with carpet transitionsI found the plastic pegs impossible to use with a carpet to tile transition (drilling near carpeting is not advisable). However, I was able to secure the transitions employing a bead of adhesive on the tile and overlapping the transition over the carpeting.
The product's wood like finish isn't appropriate in the public part of a dwelling, but would be acceptable in a bedroom area setting.

The finish and final appearance are excellent. The hidden fastening...The finish and final appearance are excellent. The hidden fastening system is a great idea but not as easy to install as it appears. The plastic anchor pins are soft plastic and if they are not pushed in vertically they bend and don't hold the strip tightly. Be careful and these are great.

Good product for uneven floor juncturesLooks nice and easy to trim with hack saw. Just wish you could buy the nylon fasteners separately since two of them broke and I just needed to replace them, not the metal transition piece.
You need to be careful when pushing the fasteners into the holes because they tend to slide in the track and go crooked.
