The MetalDecor Oak 36 in. x 1-1/4 in. Seam Binder easily covers a seam or gap between two flooring surfaces of equal height. Seam Binders prevent carpet edges from fraying, vinyl floor seams from curling and create a smooth transition between different flooring surfaces. Seam Binders are easily secured to wood and concrete floors with provided Screw Nails. For installation on concrete floors use Wooden Pegs (sold separately).
- Durable aluminum withstands high foot traffic areas in the home
- For use in doorways, room entry ways or other locations where two flooring surfaces meet
- Screw Nails fit firmly in pre-drilled holes for easy installation
- Can be cut to desired length with hack saw

Really like the easy install and ability to be cut to size. If this is your first time installing then make sure you measure twice and cut once. It has been installed for over a week and looks great but beware that the painted nails i as they will show damage almost immediately after install. Overall though happy with floors being "connected" with this product.

This worked well and was easy to stain before installing also. We purchased 2 and have purchased ...This worked well and was easy to stain before installing also. We purchased 2 and have purchased 2 in the past and all 4 have stained well, came with screws to install, were easy to cut to fit, easy to install and came out looking Great! We have purchased Traffic Master Flooring also and could not be more pleased with it's outcome also! I would highly recommend Traffic Master to everyone looking for any kind of flooring product!

The Seam Binder needs a stronger shipping carton.The seam binder is a good product for my purposes but the cardboard carton in which it was shipped wasn't sturdy enough to keep the binder from being bent. I was able straighten it enough to use it in an area where it would be less noticeable.
