I absolutely love these spacers/levelers. I am by no means a tile expert. This floor and shower is the first tile project I have ever tackled. I used the crosses and flats in the shower and the "T"s and flats on the floor. They are fool proof. Everything is perfectly spaced and level. They are kind of pricey up front since you have to purchase all of the caps (caps are reusable, not the spacers), but if you are unsure about your tile ability or have had iffy results in the past, they are worth every penny. I only gave them 4 stars for two reasons: the higher price, and the cap removal tool could be improved with metal points or a different design. My tool rounded off about halfway through and would only release 1 of the two locking tabs. I'd have to turn it over to release the other side and hope the first one didn't snap back into place. This didn't effect the flat spacers, as you can just break them off and pull them through.
Despite the removal tool, I will use these for every tile job I personally do as long as they are available. Great product overall!
