The T-molding is vinyl and does match the flooring. It seems that it will be durable. The splines underneath that fit into the metal track could be a little bit longer. It assumes that the flooring on both sides is about 1/4" thick. This is fine if you are adding an expansion break. However, if you are transitioning from thick carpet or tile, it may not grab into the track. It is also a little difficult to cut around irregular shaped door casing. If you can do it, I would recommend undercutting the jamb and/or casing and have it go under it.

This product works well. A supplied U shaped spacer is screwed to the subfloor and the bottom of ...This product works well. A supplied U shaped spacer is screwed to the subfloor and the bottom of the T-molding snaps in to the spacer. It's a clean finish, no nails or screws and by it's design the two joining surfaces don't have to be exactly the same height. Just make sure to leave the required 3/16" gap on either side of the spacer. Otherwise, the T-Molding won't snap into place.

Planks went down easily. I added cork underlayment to bring...Planks went down easily. I added cork underlayment to bring it flush with existing tile and marble on fireplace. You need to leave more than required 1/4 for transition pieces to fit. Installed over concrete and glued down the strips. Tookabout 6 hours to lay down 300 sq ft. Looks great
