Great Purchase
I purchased this mat to sit under my cat's litter box, strange use of the product....I know. It works great for keeping my hardwood floors clean of disgusting debris and it did NOT have a nasty plastic odor when I opened the box! I did a lot of price research and Home Depot had the cheapest price for the exact brand/product I was looking for. Yah Home Deps!

Moves towards desk
The floor mat does not adhere to the floor so it slides towards the desk and bunches up. I would not recommended this product unless u want to use screws to secure it to the floor.

Product is ok, doesn't damage rug, but is shipped in a roll instead of flat... instructions ask you to spend hours flattening product... the next day you use it and the following day the ends start to curl again... it works, but the look detracts from the room... needs to be thicker, shipped flat, sold at store and would be perfect... would have paid 5 extra bucks to get product the way I wanted it.

Thinner than it looks
This comes rolled up in a box. The only way to get it to lay flat is heat it up to about 80 degrees or so.
Then it must be kept cold enough to keep it ridged. Better to use a aluminum sheet under office chairs.

Its a rectangular piece of plastic for god sakes! It just lays on the floor and does what it was supposed to do.
The instructions were easy to follow. I only needed 4 more years of college physics in order to understand how to lay down this piece of plastic. Thanks Home Depot!

inexpensive protection for expensive hardwood
I searched, compared, and ordered online. This was the least costly, if you don't need an under-desk lip. It was quickly shipped without charge to local store rolled up in an easily-transported box. After sitting for a few days to come to room temperature, it uncurled and lay flat per instructions within an hour. It is thinner than some others I looked at, but the nice part is that the wood floor shows through and if you accidentally roll the chair off the edge, you don't get a jolt and get hung up,

Perfect size for home office.
Good product, perfect size for home office. Thick enough to holdup to office chair and protect the floor. Deducted 1 star because product arrived at store several days late. Also, it's rolled up in a box and had to unroll and put weights on it for 24 hours to get it flat enough to put in place. Have one corner pushed up against leg of desk to help keep it where I want it. It stays in place, doesn't slide around.
