Couldnt use for this application
Item returned. was not fit for my applications. needed a different height clearance 1/4 inch, did not want to spend time cutting and adding a shim would of looked funny so purchased another universal. This product will work for the job it is intended, it is sturdy because the seating rail is steel not plastic. The only thing I did not like was you have to cut it and there is waist.

Unfortunately - they had two different thicknesses of this product. Neither I or they caught this until I went to install. Of course, this is a one-time only installation - you cannot remove and re-use - I am out the 20 bucks because one piece did not match the thickness. If this product was made such that you could remove and re-use, it would be a much better value.

It looks great.
We did have some difficulty with installing this product to a concrete floor. Aside from that, I am very pleased with the result and happy that I did not go with a metal transition strip.
