As a Mechanic, I have company supplied kneepads, and these are so much nicer.
On these kneepads, the part that touches your knee and leg is so much softer and they seem to have cooling air vents so they stay much more comfortable than my company supplied pads.
The part that hits the ground and protects your knees on these pads is sturdy and completely flat, so if you have to work on hard concrete, for example, these pads work so much better and keep you stable as compared to the other pads I have. On those, the protector padding is more rounded and a harder plastic, like football gear, and they do not cushion as much as these pads do.
They are made very securely, but it looks like they will last, depending on the surface you subject them to. The protector pad is a softer, more cushiony plastic, and I do not know how long they will last used on the concrete shop floor. Only time will tell.

These kneepads are great for flat surfaces. I found them much more comfortable than the hard cap...These kneepads are great for flat surfaces. I found them much more comfortable than the hard cap style kneepads that I have used in the past. The cushioned fabric and straps are comfortable, flexible and do not bind. They are easy to put on and take off with the adjustable strap with loop connector. I really forgot that I was even wearing them by the time I was done the job I was working on. I do not have a non-flat surface to test them on as most of the work I do requiring kneepads is on concrete, wood, or tile floors. However, they are clearly labeled for flat terrain use so another product would be needed for non-flat surfaces. So far they have proven to be durable. The plastic padding material does pick up a lot of dust and dirt.

This set of pads is the exact replacement of the ones we have finally destroyed after our project on a log home. They have seen abuse in crawlspace all the way to roofing jobs. Can tell that they are built to LAST!
Perfect curvature from top of the knees to the lower parts to wrap your knees perfectly while getting-up and getting back on the floor surface. Clips on a side help to take the pads off quickly. Straps adjust around legs how tight they rest on your knees.
Gelpads work like magic - no rips or protrusions.
HIGHLY recommend for DYI-ers and professionals.

I have to replace flooring and I've found that I need to do what I can to protect my knees. As I've gotten older, my knees don't take the abuse like they did when I was younger.
I don't like using knee pads in the hot summer, because I get sweaty on the back side of my legs and the knee pads give me a skin rash from the sweat. I do however like knee pads when it's cooler out, because the cold floor does something to my body - I think it makes my body hurt more than normal.
I was excited to try out my new Gelite Flat Terrain Pro Kneepads on my laminate flooring job. The job was a laminate floor in one of our bedrooms (small job) + baseboards, closet door roller channel and threshold. Let me tell you, these Gelite kneepads are phenomenal! A huge difference from my old kneepads.
I like the flat face and large surface area. There's a small pocket in the center of the kneepad, which I is there to relieve pressure on the knee - it's called a Zero Pressure Zone. There are two straps which hold the pad on my legs - my pads slip a little from time to time, but the comfort outweighs the slipping.
I can't believe I've gone all these years without a quality set of kneepads. These are excellent and I highly recommend them! A must for anyone doing flooring installation!

I’m use to Velcro, but the fasteners are sturdier and no trouble to latch. They adjust easily, and the fit is far superior to my last pair with a wide Velcro strip. Having a double strap is so much more comfortable. There is no rubbing on the back of my knee. I can wear these comfortably for hours. Also the plastic exterior is very supportive and the gel interior makes walking on my knee secure and comfortable. These are well designed. I highly recommend these knee pads

Bought these knee pads for my son - he's going to be working on a re-roofing task this fall. The...Bought these knee pads for my son - he's going to be working on a re-roofing task this fall. They look fantastic - they have straps above and below the knee - all the ones I've used have had a single strap - hope the extra strap will help keep them in place. Straps are elastic and attach with a plastic piece with a keyhole shape - a unique type of connector that seems to really do the job! I'm thinking that it may be possible to wear with only the bottom strap attached for comfort too. Will give it a try!

Best knee pads I've ever owned!! I put these on, dropped down to my knees, and you can't even fee...Best knee pads I've ever owned!! I put these on, dropped down to my knees, and you can't even feel the floor. They are extremely comfortable to wear. They have adjustable straps and a button and clip connector that holds them in place. The fabric is breathable and light weight. I've been working on a deck project for weeks and what a difference these knee pads make. Great value for the money....very inexpensive. I highly recommend this product and am over the top satisfied with their performance.

They have elastic adjustable straps that keep the knee pads in place when you stand. They give plenty of support and protect your knees from direct pressure. They have a bib overall style buckle that is easy to attach and keeps the straps attached. They are made with cool flow air vents to help keep your knees/legs cool. I really like these knee pads.
