make sure to get fresh containers
Overall this works great. I subtracted one star for the first two quart containers that must have been old. The grout was grainey and i needed to use a putty knife to force it in the spaces. It would not float and required i do a very small area at a time. The third container was the correct consistency and worked much easier and quicker. HD needs to do a better job of pulling old stock. I sometimes have the same problem when buying caulk at HD

It was easy to apply and the grout looks great. However the color is way off, it does not match the color on the Custom Color Card they give out at Home Depot or even the color on the grout bucket. Either the product is wrong or the color cards were not printed properly. Either way the job now needs to be redone. Complete waste of time and money.

This is everything they say it is: good consistency and color between various containers. The convenience for small projects is unbeatable.
• One thing that is debatable is the coverage area, which for me was slightly too little. One quart tub was meant to cover 58 square feet (for 12" x 18" tiles) and it came up about 15% short of that. I'm a super high quality installer, so it may be possible that I was pushing too much grout deep in the grout lines, or losing too much from spreading and sponging/wiping.
• The other thing is that the grout may be just a touch wet. You need to be careful to keep the grout lines full to anticipate shrinkage. Make sure you wring out your sponge as much as possible between wipes and don't let water sit on grout lines.
• Also, the grout can leave a residue on the tiles, so you should wipe often (don't fill too many tiles before wiping).
These "nit-picky" comments are probably more about application than about the product. It is a great product and you won't be disappointed.

I used this for a tile back-splash in my kitchen for behind the stove and other dry areas. I have never tiled before or used traditional grout, so I can only tell you my impressions of this. After watching videos from the manufacturer and reading how it's different from regular grout I was still surprised working with it. It comes out of the tube dryer than the company's own videos show. They show grout like soft butter. But I found it dry and gritty. As I tried to float the grout around, it clumped up and was not as easy to spread. So although they recommend doing smaller areas and cleaning up sooner, I found myself doing very little at a time. But...once water hit the grout from the sponge, it was pretty easy to shape the grout lines and clean up. I used a sponge and micro-fiber like they said. After a time, I was getting used to it and moved on to larger areas. I had white on white, so seeing any haze will be harder. I initially wiped down the tile after about 15 minutes. Went back about 30 minutes later with the damp microfiber to wipe down again. I'll check it one more time later. There was a little smell to it, but nothing that strong. I would use this again. I bought the 1 quart for about 25 Sq feet and used less than half, maybe a third at the most.

The product cured way to rapidly, it did not spread very well I thought that maybe the container had gotten open somehow at the store. My suspicions were correct as when I went to get another container at the store the flow of the new grout was much better but it still cured way to rapidly. The grout haze was very difficult to get off had to use acid and razor blades. I have done lots of tile jobs but none of them have been this difficult. The thin set made by the same company is also difficult to work with. Next time I won't do what works for me and that is mix my own grout and my own mortar to the consistency that I like and I can assure its freshness.

I used this for regrouting a kitchen tile countertop. This seems to be grout with a latex paint-style additive. Having a spray bottle of water set to mist allowed for more working time. It cleans up extremely easily from porcelain tile, first with a scrub brush, then with a paper towel, then let dry an hour or two, and hit the haze with a microfiber towel. It says no sealing needed, and given the latex binder, I don't think a traditional grout sealer would ever work on it, because all of the silica would already be coated with a latex film. Cleanup of tools in the sink was similar to what you might expect for latex paint with a dose of sand.

Fusion Pro is simply the best grout on the market....
Fusion Pro is simply the best grout on the market. It is a single component, epoxy type grout that requires no mixing from powder. That eliminates the likelihood of efflorescence caused by different minerals found in different water supplies and provides color consistency and eliminates the need for a sealer. Lightly dampen the surface to be grouted and work in small areas. If allowed to dry even a few minutes too long this grout can be difficult to clean. If you follow the instructions it works great. I have been installing tile for almost 20 years and I don't recommend any other grout to my customers.

I bought this thinking it would save me time and effort of going back to seal it but I would never use it again. If you don’t get every speck of haze off BEFORE IT DRIES, it doesn’t come off! This is nearly impossible unless you change the water in your bucket every single time you rinse your sponge. Not practical when working on a second floor bathroom. The grout went on nice and looks nice so if you think you can avoid ALL HAZE then go for it. It would’ve been less time and effort for me to use regular old grout and go back and wipe the haze like usual and then later seal it.
